Chris began his career at WTOL TV in Toledo, Ohio as an account executive. He has also worked at TV stations in Las Vegas, Orlando and Memphis in various sales and management roles. For almost a decade Chris worked for a media technology company and consulted with hundreds of television stations around the country. During this time I worked with over 100 stations and visited 47 states.
Chris is a graduate of The University of Toledo and The Ohio State University.
Chris has been married to his wife Anne since 1998. They have 3 children (Jackson 12, Grant 12, and Chase 10)

Why do you love your job? I enjoy business and how companies work. In my career I have had the opportunity work with many great small, medium and large companies. Now I have the opportunity to take what I have learned and run my own company.

I have been in the media business since the mid 90’s and have had the opportunity to sell Broadcast Television with different stations, Radio, Cable Billboard Advertising, Agency/print magazine and website/digital agency.
Carrie is the senior marketing consultant with WKBT/Phase 3 Digital. Her 20+ years of customer service and team leadership have helped her develop a drive to help the businesses she works with. Carrie has always had an interest in marketing! While she began her media career in 2006, she was instrumental in past positions in creating newsletters, sales ideas and successful campaigns. Need an idea or new concept? Not sure where to start? Carrie will help you brainstorm ideas and create a campaign(s) to deliver measurable results.
Why do you love your job? I get to help businesses of all sizes grow! The creativity of not only helping develop complete campaigns but also seeing them come to fruition. I enjoy seeing the success my clients receive and knowing I’ve helped them get there. I get to learn about many different industries and build lasting relationships with my clients. Yes…I also love to see my commercials on TV!
Interesting Fact: When Carrie began her career, her Mom said it was perfect! When she was a toddler, she’d stop playing when the commercials came on and stand in front of the TV. As soon as they were over, she’d go back to playing. So yes, she has always had an interest in marketing!
Favorite activities: Spending time with family and friends, gardening, hiking and boating. She’s still trying to find a fun winter activity that doesn’t involve going out in the cold!

Julie Schmidt has been helping local businesses grow in the Coulee Region for over a decade. Steve began his advertising career as an Account Executive selling cable advertising in Los Angeles and Southern California. Moving back to the La Crosse area, Steve began his broadcast advertising career with WKBT News 8. After a couple of other media opportunities, Steve is now back Home with WKBT News 8.
Steve graduated from the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse with a Business degree and a major in Marketing.
Steve has been married to his wife Leslie since 1999. They have three children, Morgan, Amber and Shane.

Oley Yager is the Senior Digital Sales Specialist in Madison Wisconsin and brings 6 years of digital marketing and sales experience to our organization. He has planned and executed successful cross-platform marketing campaigns for small and medium-sized businesses in dozens of industries. Oley will work closely with the Sales team and the Digital Fulfillment team to ensure a responsive, efficient, and successful experience for all of our advertising partners. When Oley is not helping clients reach their goals, you can bet he is enjoying the city with his wife, taking care of his three dogs, or watching a disappointing Chicago sports team embarrass themselves.
